Fiannuala Morgan (she/her)

Fiannuala Morgan is a former librarian and archivist with over a decade of experience in the information services sector. Now a lecturer in Publishing and Communications at University of Melbourne, her research focuses on how AI can open up new ways of engaging with cultural collections, especially the Australian colonial press.

Her project Historic Fires Near Me visualises digitised newspaper reporting on bushfires across Australia between 1850 and 1900.
