Suzie Geermans (she/her)

Suzie Geermans is a descriptive metadata expert and maps cataloguer with over 20 years experience in libraries and information management. Her work focuses on providing comprehensive description and accessibility to complex collections, particularly in regard to cartographic materials.

Suzie is one of the few specialist maps cataloguers in Australia and has worked with her colleagues to make the State Library Victoria's maps collection one of the most comprehensively described and accessible collections in the country.
