Pru Mitchell (she/her)

Pru Mitchell is a librarian, educator and Wikimedian who is passionate about metadata to enhance access to GLAM collections and to advance knowledge equity. She spends her volunteer time in Wikidata education and outreach activity across the GLAM sector. Through her involvement in the grants process for Wikimedia Australia she enjoys seeing how creative GLAM collections, metadata and tech people come together to create interesting data projects. 

Pru is a Manager, Information Services at the Australian Council for Educational Research, an adjunct lecturer in the School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University, and a Fellow of the Australian Library and Information Association
