SLV LAB hosts a Creative Technologists-in-Residence program, inviting artists, designers, technologists and researchers to push the boundaries of cultural data and emerging technologies.
Over an intensive 8–12-week residency, participants collaborate with Library teams and collections to:
- prototype innovative ways to access and experience the Library's collection
- experiment with emerging technologies and digital interfaces
- explore immersive and interactive audience experiences
- test ideas that speculate on the future of libraries.
The hybrid residency combines on-site engagement within the Library’s spaces and teams with flexible online participation, ensuring that projects developed in collaboration with SLV LAB continue to inspire beyond the residency itself.
